The Modern Doula

Alice Worthy aka The Modern Doula is an experienced birth and postpartum doula on the Central Coast with a modern approach. You won’t find her charging crystals under the full moon, burning sage sticks or dehydrating placentas (not that there’s anything wrong with that—it’s just not her style). As The Modern Doula, Alice takes a no-fluff, evidence-based approach to birth education—mixing ancient techniques with real talk to help women work with pain and feel powerful in pregnancy, birth and beyond. She supports smart, busy women (and their partners) to feel prepped, proud and totally in control of their birth and postpartum experience.
